Overview
Business Transformation - Sr Manager - Healthcare Provider – Acute Care. Location: Anywhere in Country. EY seeks a Senior Manager to lead provider operations engagements within the Health consulting practice, focusing on acute care. You will work with hospitals, integrated delivery networks, and health systems to assess and redesign clinical processes, drive operational improvements, and support strategy execution in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead client engagement teams in provider operations projects, with a focus on acute care. Assess and redesign clinical processes across areas such as operational improvement, benchmarking and financial quantification, cost reduction and revenue enhancement, and workflow redesign. Manage engagements with not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare clients (hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices, academic medical centers). Lead business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts and cultivate long-term client relationships. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with approximately 10 years of related work experience; or graduate degree with approximately 7 years of related work experience. Approximately 7 years of healthcare consulting experience in provider operations; acute care experience preferred. Prior experience as a senior manager (or above) in a consulting firm or senior management role within industry. Ability to read and interpret hospital financial statements and contracts, use complex financial models, map operational processes, and perform healthcare cost reduction planning and implementation. Experience with healthcare M&A, physician alignment, or margin improvement initiatives. Proven ability to sell and deliver projects across the full life cycle of assessment, design, and implementation; proven revenue generation with healthcare clients and at the C-level of large healthcare organizations. Ability to manage a team of staff/senior/manager consultants and work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 80%. Preferred Qualifications
Degree with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA, MBA, MHA, or MPH. Clinical background preferred but not required. What We Look For
