This role may require extended hours and occasional overnight stays; travel across the region is possible. Responsibilities
Inspect Transportation Construction Projects: Ensure all work and materials meet project plans, proposals, and specifications Perform Key Measurements & Calculations: Verify weights, volumes, and measurements to ensure accuracy Prepare “As-Built” Documentation: Plot and run cross sections, and document project progress Conduct Materials Testing: Ensure materials meet quality standards throughout the project lifecycle Daily Documentation: Record all inspection activities and findings in detailed reports Work Outdoors: Adapt to varying weather conditions and environments Physical Responsibilities: Be prepared for heavy lifting and manual tasks as part of the inspection process Travel Across the Region: Visit construction sites in Horry, Georgetown, Florence, Marion, Darlington, Dillon, Williamsburg, and Marlboro Counties Independent Work: Take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision Flexible Hours & Travel: Expect extended hours and occasional overnight stays Qualifications
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Required equipment and company vehicle provided during work hours The successful candidate will hold at least two applicable certifications, and one of the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or related field AND two (2) years of relevant experience If no degree, at least four (4) years of relevant experience Ideal Candidate Will Have
