Overview
Los Angeles office is seeking a CAD Technician with a civil background to join our team in Los Angeles. Must be based in the Los Angeles area. We are expanding our presence in the US and seek professionals who can contribute to engineering solutions in railway and road design. We are currently seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician with a strong background in civil engineering and specific expertise in railway or road design. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-6 years of experience working with Bentley and AutoDesk platforms. Responsibilities
Railway Design and Drafting: Use Bentley and AutoDesk software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs and drafts for complex railway projects. Project Management: Collaborate with civil engineers and architects to ensure all project requirements are met and adhere to the established specifications and standards. Quality Assurance: Review and modify CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality in line with civil engineering principles and railway design standards. Training and Leadership: Provide guidance and training to junior CAD Technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all design and drafting activities related to railway projects. Qualifications
Minimum 3-6 years of experience as a CAD Technician in the civil engineering field, with a focus on railway design or similar project work Proficiency in Bentley and AutoDesk platforms: MicroStation, OpenRail, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Civil 3D Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and Caltrans design standards Excellent diligence and problem-solving skills Effective communication and team collaboration skills Seniority level
