Diesel Technicians
for our dealership in
Sarasota, Florida . Our ideal candidate is skilled in major repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical systems. Sun State International Trucks is a locally owned dealership retailing International brand trucks with 5 locations throughout Florida. We sell both new and used trucks and trailers. We are an authorized dealer of IC Bus, Hyundai Translead trailers, and Globe trailers. We also provide parts and service for heavy‑duty trucks of all brands. As an experienced diesel technician – you know the job. We expect you to be able to accurately evaluate repairs and complete repairs in a timely manner. Hourly rate is based on experience and technicians are eligible for a monthly efficiency bonus. As an employee of Sun State, you’ll be eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short‑ and Long‑term disability insurance and our 401K retirement plan with employer match. Required Education, Licenses, and Skills:
High School Diploma or Equivalent 3‑5 years of Diesel Mechanic experience; All Makes—International, Volvo, Mack, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Cummins Engines, Detroit Diesel Motors Valid Driver’s License Ability to Meet Physical Requirements Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
