Pay Package:
Based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
Required Qualifications
One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations.
PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications.
Other certifications and licenses may be required.
Summary The Cath Lab Technologist assists in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, preparing patients, monitoring hemodynamic data, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.
Essential Work Functions
Prepare and position patients for procedures.
Assist physicians during procedures.
Operate imaging equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
Maintain sterile technique and infection control.
Perform sheath removal and achieve hemostasis.
Maintain accurate documentation and inventory.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, good communication.
Proficiency in English.
Ability to read and follow written instructions and verbal instructions; PC skills.
Physical abilities: remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), bend, push, pull.
Interpersonal skills: work effectively with various personnel.
Technical/Motor skills: fine manipulation and movement.
Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with public while meeting deadlines under pressure; work under close supervision occasionally but also independently.
Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.
