Responsibilities This position is responsible for performing environmental monitoring of fill lines in SFF and PFF, as well as monitoring all classified production areas, including sampling of site utility systems. The role supports 24‑hour filling operations, executes the Quality Oversight program for fill lines, and provides quality control approval of air flow visualizations conducted on site. The employee must follow SOPs, maintain precise documentation, perform cleaning duties and housekeeping, and support production activities across all shifts to avoid delays.
Qualifications
Assistant level:
AA or BS degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science or a BS in biology, chemistry, or related field plus 6‑12 months of applicable laboratory experience. Preferred background in GLP/GMP laboratory.
Associate level:
AA or BS degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science or a BS in biology, chemistry, or related field plus 2 years of applicable laboratory experience. Preferred background in GLP/GMP laboratory.
Job Physical Requirements Work is performed in an office and a laboratory/manufacturing environment. Exposure to biological fluids, occasional extreme cold below 32°F, electrical equipment, and personal protective equipment such as eyewear, garments and gloves is required. Tasks involve sitting or standing for 2‑4 hours per day, frequent hand and foot movements, ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and good color perception and vision. Strong communication skills and following written or oral instructions are essential.
