Angels of Care offers part‑time and full‑time positions for certified Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech‑Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA). Bilingual experience is preferred. The agency is clinician‑owned and operates in the pediatric home‑health setting, serving the special‑needs community. Full‑time and part‑time positions include guaranteed pay to ensure income consistency as your caseload grows.
Pay Range:
$31,000 – $156,000
Job Description A certified SLP or SLPA will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional disabilities and delays by delivering speech therapy services in the home and community.
Requirements
ASHA Certification
Texas State SLP/SLPA License
Current CPR certification
Minimum 1 year of experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality care and meet the needs of patients and families by implementing speech therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the supervising speech therapist.
Assist pediatric patients in developing or regaining cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional functioning and increasing independence through skilled interventions.
Educate, coach, and empower caregivers and families to incorporate therapeutic activities into daily routines.
Ensure continuation of therapeutic plans after discharge by designing and instructing home exercise programs for patients, families, and caregivers.
Document patient care services and coordination in an electronic medical record system.
Maintain patient confidentiality to preserve trust.
