Angels of Care currently has opportunities for part-time or full-time certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP). We are a clinician-owned and operated home health agency with experienced staff serving the special needs community. $52,200 - $156,000 + $2,500 sign-on bonus Job Description
A certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional disabilities and delays by planning and administering speech therapy services in the home and community. Requirements
ASHA certification Texas State SLP License Current CPR certification A minimum of 1 year of experience preferred Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care, perform evaluations, develop goals, and create treatment plans in conjunction with physicians. Assist pediatric patients in developing or regaining cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional functioning, maximizing their potential. Educate and empower caregivers and families to carry over therapeutic activities into daily routines. Coordinate with referral partners to provide services per physician orders. Design and instruct patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs for continued therapy post-discharge. Document patient care and care coordination in electronic medical records. Maintain patient confidentiality. Benefits
