A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide specialized services in a K‑12 educational setting located in Glen Allen, VA. This contract position offers a full school year commitment, supporting students in their communication development and educational success.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among K‑12 students.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student progress.

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.

Provide teletherapy services as needed to support remote learners.

Support pediatric healthcare communication goals where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology preferred.

Experience working in educational, healthcare, pediatric, or teletherapy settings.

Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent field experience is desirable.

Familiarity with school‑based therapy protocols and compliance requirements.

SLPA experience or certification for assistant roles is a plus.
