Site Engineer
to oversee and manage industrial construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. This role is critical in maintaining project timelines, budget adherence, and delivering high-quality industrial infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring project schedules are adhered to.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all local and national regulations.
Prepare, review, and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, progress records, and incident reports.
Identify and resolve technical issues on-site efficiently and effectively.
Liaise with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and implement requested changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of industrial construction processes, standards, and techniques.
Proficient in construction project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control standards, and environmental guidelines.
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in industrial construction projects.
Proven track record in successfully managing large-scale industrial projects from start to finish.
Working Hours
Full-time position with standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Flexibility required for site visits and project deadlines, including occasional weekends.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and best practices.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and specifications.
