Job Description: Lead Canning Line Operator We (aka Mountain Culture Beer Co) started as a single, yet stylish brewpub in Katoomba five years ago.
Within a year of opening, our beer was selling out within hours of it being released, and an expansion was necessary to keep up with demand. This led to our 3,000sqm production facility being built at the foot of the Mountains, capable of pumping out up to 8 million litres of beer per year. We take our beer very seriously and invest in the right technology to improve quality.
This position will oversee our state‑of‑the‑art Krones canning line and lead our packaging team. We are looking for an individual that can keep up, keep us focused and ensure we continue to be Australia’s #1 rated brewery.
What does this role entail?
Working with the Lead Brewer and Production Manager to develop and execute all aspects of packaging
Coordinate packaging team members responsibilities and schedules in accordance with production schedules
Ensure on‑time and accurate completion of production and quality documentation for in‑process beer
Work alongside team to conduct daily package operations, uphold quality standards across all production processes
Lead and inspire a team of packagers, providing guidance, training, and support
Continuously strive to refine processes for efficiency gains that is not at the expense of the quality of the product
Who are we looking for?
3 years experience in a production facility
Experience leading a team
Experience with Krones can lines or Komac keg lines preferred
