Voyage Health is seeking a full-time, contract RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery for an 8-week contract in Arlington, Texas.
Position Overview
We are hiring experienced RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery to provide essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients. Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery. Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans. Participate in continuous professional development and training. Assist in the management of labor and delivery emergencies. Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes. Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately. Evaluate and implement best practices in labor and delivery care. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times. Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives. Maintain high visibility of work activities and results. Support and mentor junior nursing staff as needed. Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in Texas with a focus on labor and delivery. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning. Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery nursing. Motivated to engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives. Strong understanding of patient care plans and delivery protocols. Experience in managing labor and delivery emergencies effectively. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols in healthcare. Ability to mentor and support junior nursing staff effectively. Proficient in documenting patient care activities accurately.
