* Provides analytic support for maternal health and care access indicators overall and evaluating current maternal health policy and system-change efforts, assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and impact of these efforts for the Office of Public Health (OPH) Bureau of Family Health (BFH)* Collaborates with stakeholders to develop evaluation plans for the maternal health innovation strategies in BFH, including defining objectives, selecting appropriate methodologies, and identifying key performance indicators.* Designs and implements data collection methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and observational studies to gather relevant information for program evaluation.* Analyzes quantitative and qualitative data using statistical techniques and software tools to assess program effectiveness, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.* Evaluates the impact of public health interventions on target populations, considering factors such as behavior change, health outcomes, and equity.* Prepares comprehensive evaluation reports summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for program improvement or continuation.* Communicates evaluation results to stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.* Ensures the quality and integrity of evaluation data through rigorous validation processes and adherence to ethical standards in research.* Collaborates with program managers and stakeholders to incorporate evaluation findings into program planning, design, and implementation processes to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency.* Shares evaluation findings and best practices through presentations, publications, conferences, and other dissemination channels to contribute to the broader field of public health research and practice related to maternal health innovation through policy and systems change.* Other tasks as assigned.**QUALIFICATIONS**

**REQUIRED:*** Bachelor’s Degree, or Associates degree with 3 years professional experience, or 6 years professional experience in lieu of the degree.* Minimum 4 years professional experience performing administrative functions within an office environment or health care field.* Minimum 2 years professional experience conducting program evaluation, applied research, or policy analysis* Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.* Great attention to detail and follow up.* Ability to manage projects, assignments, and competing priorities.* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel.* Proficient with statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, R, or STATA* Advanced degree.* Minimum 5 years professional experience performing administrative functions within an office environment or health care field.* Minimum 3 years professional experience conducting program evaluation, applied research, or policy analysis.* Minimum 2 years professional experience working with maternal health, public health, relevant related field.* Minimum 1 year professional experience with grant writing, proposal development, or fundraising for public health initiatives.* Detailed resume listing relevant qualifications and experience;* Cover Letter indicating why you are a good fit for the position and University of Louisiana Systems;* Names and contact information of three references;Note to Applicant:Applicants should fully describe their qualifications and experience with specific reference to each of the minimum and preferred qualifications in their cover letter.
