Overview
The WANG Lab at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Department of Neurological Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will contribute to developing and/or applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and image segmentation and/or data science-based methods to address topics such as disease diagnosis/prognosis, biomarkers identification and treatment prediction, among others.
Responsibilities
Contribute to developing and/or applying AI, machine learning, image segmentation, and data science-based methods to address research topics in neurology.
Required Qualifications
A PhD by time of hiring in a relevant field. Relevant fields include (but are not limited to) Computer Science, statistics, mathematics, automation, informatics, and Engineering.
Experience in deep learning, machine learning and medical imaging processing.
Programming experience: Python, MATLAB, SPSS, Shell.
Experience in working with Linux workstation.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills and ability to self-direct work.
Ability to work as a team member.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
