Job Summary The Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Program Education Coordinator is primarily responsible for faculty guidance to facilitate the MLS program's student laboratory educational phase for Omaha and off-campus sites; MLS program additional laboratory learning activities; special projects; and College of Allied Health Professions, and Clinical, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Science Department student recruitment; and admitted student advising. This position plays a pivotal role in collaborating with a variety of MLS and CAHP stakeholders to ensure positive student and faculty outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Laboratory Science.

1 year experience in a clinical laboratory setting.

Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) or equivalent.

Knowledge of medical laboratory science profession and curricula.

Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and multitasking skills.

Prior experience in developing and delivering presentations.

Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

Prior teaching experience.

Canvas, ExamSoft, Echo360, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
