Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – PM/Night Float Join UW Health as a Radiologic Technologist – PM/Night Float.

This role will provide evening and night float coverage at University Hospital and East Madison Hospital, delivering high‑quality diagnostic and imaging services to patients of all ages.

Work Schedule

80% FTE, evening/night shift

Float coverage at University Hospital and East Madison Hospital

Guaranteed minimum 72 hours per pay period

Weekend and holiday rotation required

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department

Pay

Eligible for a $16,000 sign‑on bonus (pro‑rated based on FTE)

Responsibilities

Perform imaging on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.

Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

Learn and adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology (required)

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (preferred)

Experience

Previous healthcare experience (required)

2 years of clinical experience (preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

ARRT Radiography (R) certification – required upon hire

Wisconsin Radiological License – required upon hire

CPR certification within 3 months – required
