About the Role
The Norfolk Regional Center is seeking a Clinical Program Manager with a strong background in behavioral health and program development. In this role you will be an integral part of our Behavioral Health Division and provide critical care and oversight to adult patients at Norfolk Regional Center (NRC). The ideal candidate must be committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in alignment with Norfolk Regional Center’s mission of making a difference in the lives of fellow Nebraskans.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain program operational procedures, including coordinating treatment planning meetings, the assignment of patients to program components, and program functions with supportive activities in other units.
Maintain communication lines between the Clinical Program and other treatment units to ensure continuity of care for patients.
Coordinate the discharge process of patients in the program.
Assure appropriate treatment planning processes and best practices are maintained for patients involved in the Program by designating and assigning work to program staff.
Consult with all disciplines and facility programs to develop and maintain treatment philosophy and programming orientation for the Program.
Provide training and continuing education to ensure staff development for program staff.
Supervise personnel from various disciplines in carrying out the Program functions.
Coordinate quality assurance activities, including designing and implementing quality improvement activities for the Program.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science plus supervisory experience and experience in program administration of treatment for individuals with persistent mental illness or sex offender services.
Preferred Requirements: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a Behavioral Health Field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology). Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner or Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Nebraska.
Required Skills
Knowledge of individual, group, family therapeutic interventions, community resources, hospital policies and procedures, accreditation standards, psychiatric treatment, behavior modification, and mental health board systems.
Ability to communicate effectively, prioritize work activities, and generate and disseminate information.
Skill in interpersonal communications and various therapeutic approaches.
Pay Range and Compensation
Pay rate: $35.098 - $52.645/hour. Pay rate may commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints, if approved. Schedule: To be determined, will discuss at interview.
