CommonSpirit Health . The Neuro Acute & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (6NNABC) at St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is a 48 bed Neurosurgery/Neurological/Epilepsy Monitoring unit. The unit cares for complex neurological patients including traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, brain tumors, spine surgeries, stroke, migraine, and patients with epilepsy who need further in-patient evaluation. The team emphasizes clinical expertise and offers extensive training and opportunities to participate in unit and hospital-wide quality and performance improvement teams. The Neuro Acute & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is an excellent place to learn and grow both personally and professionally. Job Responsibilities
Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient. Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient. D emonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues. Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices. Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner. Job Requirements
Minimum Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. AZ RN license American Heart Association BLS certification Preferred BSN Professional certification in area of specialty One year recent acute care experience Pay Range
$35.00 - $58.63 /hour Where You\'ll Work
