Production Supervisor

This role requires full flexibility to work across multiple shift structures, which may include 8–12 hour schedules, day and night shifts, and standard 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. Candidates must be willing and able to work any assigned shift or schedule, including weekends or holidays, based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Direct and execute the activities of team members engaged in the production or processing of materials, such as Technical Operators and Sr. Technical Operators
Aim to achieve KPI targets: Production Target Qty, OEE, Yield and Project targets
Manage and enforce safety and other applicable rules and regulations
Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs
Coordinate operations with other supervisors within or between departments
Plan and manage established work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production and quality goals
Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
Develop training plans, schedules, and demonstrate equipment operations and safety procedures to new team members or assign experienced operators for training
Create, update, and maintain Work Instructions, Work Standards, Troubleshooting Guide, Quality Alerts, Change Orders, OPL (One Point Lessons) and Visual Standards
Monitor operators to ensure conformance to production or processing standards
Resolve team member problems, complaints, or grievances with management and peers
Interpret and apply company policies, specifications, blueprints, and job orders for team members
Train and mentor other Supervisors
Maintain cleanliness at the work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards
Lead efforts on Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas
Quality issue monitoring, root cause finding, and corrective action implementation
Monitor/manage the SPC, RMS system, QMS NCR and verify flags
Manage inventory (material, semi-product, product, holding material/product)
Adhere to company, team and safety rules/requirements at all times, including clean room rules and PPE standards
Lead, manage, support and develop various Operators and Technicians
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in operations, Management or related field or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience
7+ years of experience in complex mechanical assembly, tooling, and manufacturing assembly equipment, including PLC equipment or equivalent relevant experience
3 to 6+ years of leadership experience required
Working experience with PPAP requirements
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost analysis, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
Skills
