Five or more years of experience . Experience with reading blueprints . Examines blueprints and plan sequence of operation, applying knowledge of geometry, effects of heat, weld shrinkage, machining and metal thickness. Assembles and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment according to specifications by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints. Maintains quality that can pass NDT testing procedures. Performs fitting assignments in a safe and efficient manner practicing safety at all times. Operates applicable hand tools (chipping hammers, grinders, etc.). Operates high reaches or man lifts as required when having to perform fitting assignments above ground level. Follows instructions, written and/or verbal, with little or no supervision. Examines work pieces for defects and measures work pieces with straight edges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. Performs other construction duties or task as required based on company’s needs.
