We are looking for a mechanic who can work 2nd shift (2:00 PM start) or 3rd shift (8:00 PM start) and who enjoys variety, adapting, and fixing problems. We self-service a full range of equipment from 2-cycle engines to Class A trucks, loaders, and trailers. No two days are the same. In this role, you’ll be the expert our team members go to for help with their diesel equipment, and your hard work and expertise directly enable our company to be successful. We value your area of expertise and are open to training and collaboration with fellow mechanics to ensure we do our best work. Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel equipment across a broad range of machines (2-cycle engines to Class A trucks, loaders, and trailers). Self-serve and manage maintenance tasks; provide guidance to operators and team members as needed. Collaborate with fellow mechanics and participate in training to ensure high-quality work. Keep track of repairs, time, and parts using the company mobile app. Maintain organization of stock-parts, tools, and shop areas; prioritize and solve problems with minimal supervision. Qualifications

Troubleshoot and perform repairs to front-end suspension, tires, brakes, and preventative maintenance within skill set and company capabilities. Complete preventative maintenance, inspect diesel equipment for repair needs, and perform in-field repairs as required. Ability to work rotating shifts during winter to support overnight snow operations. Professional driving license (chauffeur designation) and clean driving record; DJ’s will assist with obtaining designation if needed. Smartphone to use Company app for tracking repair information. Physical demands: ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach; push/pull; lift/carry up to 50 lbs; repetitive motion; work outdoors and in noisy environments. Benefits
