Core Responsibilities
Ability to set up and operate various Lathe jobs without supervision
Ensure parts conform to specifications and requirements
Make offsets and necessary modifications or adjustments as needed
Perform in a fast-paced environment with a focus on both Quality and Productivity
Read and understand standard and geometric tolerances on blueprints and work instructions
Accurately verify and document dimensions using measuring instruments (micrometers, depth gages, height gages, dial calipers, and optical comparators)
Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering on potential solutions
Maintain 5S practices on machines and in work area
Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations and wear necessary PPE as required
Cross train to learn and perform other duties as necessary
Education, Experience & Skills Requirements
High School Diploma, Technical School Degree or equivalent
Master Cam programming a plus
Minimum 5 years’ experience setting up CNC machines with Fanuc and HAAS controls
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Ability to Multi-task
Detail Oriented
Strong desire to succeed
Physical Limitations
Bending, pulling, pushing, sitting, and reaching
Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally
Standing for up to 8 hours per day
Read, write, and communicate in English
