Start: ASAP → mid-December. Schedule: 5x11s Monday–Friday. Location: Wyoming – traveling site‑to‑site. We are seeking a certified Dual Inspector to provide comprehensive inspection services for distribution pipeline construction and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding inspections on pipeline joints, fittings, and connections in accordance with API, ASME, and AWS standards.
Conduct dual verification inspections for critical welds and pressure‑containing components.
Execute coating and corrosion control inspections per NACE standards and specifications.
Document inspection results using industry‑standard reporting procedures and maintain detailed quality records.
Verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with construction crews, engineers, and project management on inspection schedules and findings.
Identify and report welding defects, coating failures, or non‑conformances requiring corrective action.
Support pre‑service and in‑service inspection activities for pipeline integrity.
Requirements
Current CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or CPWI (Certified Pipeline Welding Inspector) certification required.
NACE certification (CP, CIP, or equivalent corrosion control certification) required.
Minimum 3‑5 years experience in pipeline construction or distribution system inspection.
Knowledge of API 1104, ASME B31.8, and applicable pipeline codes and standards.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various project sites.
Strong documentation skills and proficiency with inspection software/databases.
