Job Overview As an Industrial Electrician, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all electrical systems, automation, and instrumentation across our high‑speed aluminum can production lines. Your work will ensure equipment such as Cuppers, Bodymakers, Trimmers, Washers, Decorators, Necker, Palletizers, and conveyors operate safely and reliably, supporting continuous improvement and minimal downtime.

What You Will Do
Perform maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, encoders, and control panels.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in high‑speed aluminum can‑making machinery.
Work with 380 VAC and 24 VDC power systems, servo drives, VFDs, and pneumatic/electro‑mechanical controls.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety policies.
Conduct arc‑flash risk assessments and enforce LOTO procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation for electrical inspections and repairs.
Collaborate with mechanics, engineers, and production teams to resolve cross‑functional issues.
Identify opportunities to improve electrical efficiency and reduce downtime.
Assist in new equipment installation and commissioning.
Support inventory tracking of electrical spare parts.
Qualifications and Skills
3–5 + years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in high‑speed manufacturing or packaging.
Hands‑on experience with Siemens or Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo systems.
Familiarity with Profibus/Profinet or similar communication networks is a plus.
Technical Skills
Strong troubleshooting of motor controls, drives, and industrial sensors.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams.
Knowledge of instrumentation (pressure, level, and temperature sensors).
Soft Skills
Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
Team player who can collaborate across electrical and mechanical groups.
Good communication skills to document work and share findings.
Certifications (Preferred)
Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master).
OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or equivalent safety training.
Education and Experience
Diploma or associate degree in electrical engineering, industrial electricity, or related field.
Aperent apprenticeship or equivalent hands‑on training preferred.
