location. Essential Functions

Diagnose, repair, and overhaul mechanical and pneumatic cranes used in the construction industry. Repair and replace damaged or worn parts. Operate and inspect cranes to diagnose defects. Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices. Dismantle and reassemble cranes using hoists and hand tools. Perform routine maintenance on cranes, including cleaning and lubrication. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges. Schedule maintenance and keep service records. Read and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings. Overhaul and test machines or equipment for efficiency. Assemble gear systems and align frames and gears. Repair or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment by fitting bearings. Weld or solder broken parts and structural members. Clean parts using solvents. Adjust and maintain subassemblies, including transmissions and crawler heads. Maintain industrial machinery using controls and regulating devices. Communicate effectively within a team environment. Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have: One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 3-6 months related experience, or equivalent education and experience. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals; write routine reports; and communicate effectively. Problem-solving skills to handle practical issues with limited standardization. Ability to work in variable environments with noise and temperature fluctuations, with extended periods of standing, stooping, and kneeling. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance. Additional Details
