As a SkyWest A&P Mechanic, you will be a part of a fast-paced environment full of variety that puts your talent to work on our growing fleet of aircraft. Those with military A&P experience are eligible for an additional $7,500 bonus. In select locations, new mechanics qualify for a $10,000 bonus with a commitment to work in that location for at least three years. This opportunity will help you gain new skills as you work nose-to-tail on our aircraft and contribute to the SkyWest operation. Note:

Troubleshoot all aircraft systems Make critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner Be trained to perform all maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time Manage all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork Meet all FAA and Safety Requirements Hold a valid FAA-issued A&P Certificate Demonstrate good troubleshooting skills Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills Demonstrate problem-solving and organizational skills Be willing to work a night/third shift position, including nights, weekends, and holidays Exercise good judgment in team environments and in aircraft maintenance and safety Preferred: CRJ and EMB experience Preferred: Be familiar with Company and Manufacturer Manuals Qualifications
Be at least 18 years of age Possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license Be able to read, write, and understand the English language Be able to comfortably lift 60 lbs. routinely with or without reasonable accommodation This is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position Physical and Other Requirements
