Overview
HVAC Technician II - Dollywood Theme Park - Full Time Year Round Join Dollywood Parks & Resorts in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. We seek candidates who will embody our mission of creating memories worth repeating while bringing families closer together and caring deeply about our brand. This role performs skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment across Dollywood Company properties, aligned with our mission, values and operating standards. Responsibilities
Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, chillers, water cooling towers, pumps, valves, expansion devices and related components
Inspect, troubleshoot and repair various types of commercial kitchen equipment
Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, boilers, gas and electrically operated air conditioning equipment, and service evaporative coolers
Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls (thermostats, switches, fan controls, log switches, damper motors, valves, relays, filters, belts, compressors, heat exchangers, safety valves, etc.)
Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment, vacuum pump and test instruments; maintain inventory of parts and tools
Repair and rebuild compressors and refrigeration machinery as needed
Perform electrical maintenance on HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors and wiring; connect motors to control panels
Lubricate and package HVAC motors, pumps, fans and other equipment
Install and calibrate systems; install copper tubing, test joints, insulate pipes, test and service boilers and water pumps; adjust and replace components as necessary
Maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials; document tasks and prepare reports as required
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be at least 18 years old
Certified HVAC Technician
Minimum of two years of documentable HVAC journeyman level operation, maintenance and repair experience in HVAC and refrigeration
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to interact professionally with guests, vendors and colleagues

Self-motivated, disciplined and capable of prioritizing and completing tasks
Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate teamwork; work well in a fast-paced environment
Flexible with schedules, including overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays

Ability to meet physical demands, work outdoors, and operate a company vehicle with valid license and insurance
Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally; work at heights up to 150 ft
Able to tolerate chemicals and use hand and power tools safely
