Base pay range
$62,462.00/yr - $90,563.00/yr Benefits: Dental Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement, Paid Time Off. Must-Haves: Must possess valid New York State driver's license and be insurable, or ability to obtain one. Must possess a high school diploma and vocational training in the electrical trades. 3-5 years experience as a Journeyman Electrician . Previous experience performing all work conforming to electrical codes (national and local) and OSHA. Experience modifying/correcting electrical and electronic circuitry in building wiring and machine controls. Nice-To-Haves: Ability to work from blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and written manufacturers reference materials. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strive for continuous quality improvement. Effective communication skills with supervisors, tradesmen, and hospital staff. Ability to plan projects, order materials, and complete installations efficiently. Job Summary: Attention to detail with respect to electrical distribution systems, electronic equipment, and appliances. Perform daily maintenance and specific preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment. Be on call as scheduled and perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintenance, repair, installation & testing of electric & electronic controllers. Installation, repair & adjustment of components related to the Facility Energy Management System. Understanding and working with programs tied to this system. Maintenance and repair of electrical distribution systems and emergency generators. Installation of new sub-panels and branch circuits. Electrical installations for new equipment and troubleshooting existing systems. Repair and installation of fire alarm circuits and testing fire alarm systems. Installation and repair of electrical components, including but not limited to: Variable frequency motor drives. Kitchen appliances (washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, mixers). Lighting and power (indoor/outdoor). Time and date stampers/clocks. Emergency Generators. Electric heating and controls. Electric motors and related equipment. Awareness of complex infrastructure controls. Maintenance and repair of Pneumatic Tube System. Other duties as assigned. Seniority level
