Empire Electric Maintenance is actively hiring Journeyman Electricians to join our growing field operations team. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform corrective repairs Conduct inspections and testing to identify hazards or defects Perform preventive maintenance on wiring, circuits, panels, and devices Work with conduit systems (bend, install, and pull wire) Use electrical tools and testing devices to diagnose and maintain systems Respond to electrical emergencies and ensure on-site safety for all personnel Maintain compliance with NEC standards and OSHA safety requirements Keep accurate job records and maintain communication with team leads Qualifications
5+ years relevant electrical experience (residential/industrial/commercial preferred) High School diploma or GED Working knowledge of NEC, electrical theory, and standard safety procedures Proficiency with high-voltage three-phase circuits, transformers, and switchgear Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must have own basic hand tools Physical Requirements
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and squat for 8+ hours daily Work in both indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to weather, dust, noise, and vibration Good vision and hearing (natural or corrected) Must be able to work in varying temperature and environmental conditions Benefits
