The Landscape Designer/Landscape Architect must be thoroughly familiar with designing all aspects of landscape construction, including site analysis, grading, drainage, plant selection and placement, hardscape (patios, walkways, decks, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, etc.), water features, lighting, etc., and be able to design using AutoCAD software. This position will work alongside our Senior Landscape Designers and Architects to complete site studies and create base plans, planting plans, grading plans, lighting plans, and final master plans for high-end residential and specialty commercial clients. The Landscape Designer/Landscape Architect must have excellent analytical, aesthetic, and communication skills. The Landscape Designer will interface with the company’s Sales, Production, and Administrative personnel. Skill Set & Educational Requirements: Minimum of five years of design experience in the Green Industry Minimum of three years of design experience with AutoCAD Associate’s degree (preferably in the Green Industry) Current Landscape Designer license or certification, if appropriate Portfolio of at least ten installed designs with photographs of completed jobs Ability to conduct thorough site analysis Ability to analyze drainage and grading requirements Ability to design quickly and efficiently Ability to translate designs into working drawings/documents for field personnel Clean criminal record Proficient in oral and written communication Courteous and professional representation of the company Success Factors: Self-starter Action- and results-oriented Team supportive and encouraging Aesthetic and environmental awareness Desire for professional growth and skill improvement Receptive to feedback and correction from colleagues Why Join The Pattie Group, Inc.?
