The New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineering Technician will report to the NPI Supervisor and will be responsible for performing NPI Builds, line trials and maintaining the NPI area. This person is expected to execute against provided manufacturing instructions (if available), validate their own work, check the quality of previous operations, mentor production associates, lead builds in defined area, and meet schedules. The NPI Technician is expected to provide feedback, define standard work, and suggest process improvements. Experience with hand tools and use of semi-automated manufacturing equipment is necessary. What You’ll Do

Perform complex and precise electro-mechanical assembly work and be able to work independently once a task is assigned, make connections with other employees, work fluidly with the team to achieve great results Typically involves a variety of operations, including troubleshooting and rework, requiring a sufficient understanding of the functional operation of the items assembled as well as the finished product Work from complex and detailed manufacturing documentation, drawings, and/or verbal and written instructions and specialized fixtures/test equipment Responsible for quality activities, including self-inspection, and inspection. Be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, interacting with multiple teams Update production records and test results, record process improvements, and manufacturability suggestions Communicate test results, ideas and problems to supervisor and engineers Maintain NPI Pilot Lines to keep current with changes in product design and manufacturing process What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in assembly of electro-mechanical components Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and mechanical drawings with basic understanding of electrical systems High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail with the ability to work quickly Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. daily and maintain a safe working environment Command of the English language, both written and verbal Benefits and Compensation

Expected Compensation "$24.40 - $56.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits" Pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors. The total compensation package may also include other elements. Details will be provided if an offer is extended. Compensation and Benefits (Continued)
