Field Service Technician/ Industrial Mechanic
Triad Service Center
is seeking a qualified Field Technician for service and repair of light industrial equipment in the Green Bay, WI area. Equipment commonly worked on includes floor scrubbers, sweepers, handicapped carts, checkout lanes, paint shakers and other commercial equipment found in large retail or industrial locations. Technicians will also install and service grease containment units used in conjunction with deep fryers. This position uses a company vehicle regionally and requires a valid, good standing driver’s license.
The position is primarily Monday–Friday, averaging 40 hours per week. Vehicle, laptop, and cell phone are provided, and paid training is provided.
Starting Pay Range: $18-$25
Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair and complete both service calls and scheduled preventive maintenance on light industrial equipment.
Provide on-location preventative maintenance and repairs to customer equipment and perform job duties with strong customer service.
Visually inspect, test and listen to machines to locate malfunctions; dismantle machine parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
Install new or repaired parts; clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, belts, and other parts of machinery.
Schedule repairs and PMs in similar locations on the same day when possible; maintain records and report work orders, parts, supplies, and daily agenda.
Submit daily work orders, agendas/timecards, parts orders, and all required paperwork; handle company equipment responsibly in accordance with PM guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose, repair and complete service calls and PMs on light industrial equipment.
Ability to perform on-location preventative maintenance and repairs; excellent customer service skills.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally; travel up to 300 miles per day may be required.
Willingness to work Monday through Friday with potential weekends/after-hours work at emergency rates; on-call status may apply on weekends/holidays.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving skills; comply with state and federal regulations.
