Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and governance of ArcGIS-based geospatial solutions for mapping healthcare clients and provider locations.

Architect and manage enterprise GIS solutions ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, data policies, and public health objectives.

Oversee the development and maintenance of geospatial data architectures, workflows, and metadata standards to support enterprise mapping and analytics needs.

Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define governance frameworks, and ensure effective data sharing and integration.

Supervise the creation and management of GIS datasets (demographic, socioeconomic, health, and program data) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Mentor and guide GIS analysts and developers, providing best practices for spatial analysis, web mapping, and data visualization using ArcGIS tools.

Establish and enforce geospatial data management policies, documentation standards, and quality assurance processes.

Advise and oversee advanced spatial analyses to inform public health initiatives and track contract compliance.

Prepare and present technical reports, dashboards, and interactive web maps for executive leadership and external stakeholders.

Drive geospatial governance initiatives, including policy development, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making frameworks.

Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with state and federal policies and procedures.

Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently in an agile/scrum development environment.

Leverage expertise in Esri ArcGIS, SQL Server Enterprise Geodatabases, Python, and SQL to support GIS data management and integration.

Contribute to continuous improvement by exploring advanced technologies such as machine learning, GeoAI, and generative AI for geospatial analytics.

Qualifications

Experience with Medicaid, public health, or social services programs and datasets (preferred).

Certifications in GIS (Esri, GISP) (preferred).

Experience with machine learning, LLMs, Snowflake Data Warehouses, and custom web-based application interfaces (preferred).

Location: Austin, TX

Salary: $180,000.00–$250,000.00
