The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design centre within the Sweco Group. It specialises in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
What type of projects you work with: We work with projects of varying sizes, both large and small. Our main client is the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) as the end‑user, but we also collaborate with other public clients (such as municipalities) and contractors. Our projects cover all stages and may involve different requirements for documentation, drawings, 2D/3D models, and calculations.
Responsibilities:
Perform design work – both drawings and models;
Review own work as well as that of others;
Produce deliverables such as system descriptions, technical descriptions, and plan descriptions;
Work on railway design assignments including layout, installation, and other relevant drawings;
Collaborate within the discipline and coordinate with other disciplines such as Track, Ducting, Ground, Catenary, and Electrics.
Our requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
5+ years of relevant experience in telecom;
Proficiency with
Bentley Microstation / Bentley Promis.e / Bentley Open Rail / AutoCAD / Civil 3D
software;
Experience in railway/light rail/tramway/subway planning and design, including template design, cross‑sections, and drawing preparation;
Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
Nice to have: experience with technical leading, any kind of Swedish experience.
