CEI is seeking construction inspectors for the Tucson area with
ACI
and
ATTI
certifications for upcoming roadway paving projects. Some DOT projects will require additional structure inspections.
Responsibilities
Performs field inspections on transportation construction projects including paving, materials verification testing and compliance, mix design, subgrade and compaction, asphalt placement, utility coordination, grading, drainage, curb, sidewalk, ADA ramps, traffic control evaluation.
Identifies any deviations from specified construction procedures and notifies supervisor
Documents all observations of the construction progress to include daily diaries and inspection activities
Qualifications
Required ACI / ATTI Field Certifications
NICET, ATSSA, SWPPP nice to have
GED/HS Diploma with 2-7 years related engineering experience
DOT/highway/structure experience needed for state projects
