Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Master Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in Williston, Vermont. For more info call Misty or text "Williston T4" to 715-212-8533. Responsibilities

SBTIII trained within 180 days (SBT220) Complete all OEM on-line diagnostic scan tool software courses as required by location fleet mix (completed within 365 days) Complete instructor-led OEM courses as required to support location fleet mix Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance Performs complex repairs with minimal (if any) support Diagnoses and repairs complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers/software when applicable Performs remote triage with RCRC and customers to determine best solution for roadside breakdowns Performs facility maintenance duties and interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the complaint Instructs and advises other technicians regarding maintenance repair procedures and diagnostics Coaches/mentors other technicians and advises shop management on shop repairs Utilizes Shop Management System and electronic documentation Operates in compliance with all federal/provincial and corporate safety guidelines Other support duties as required to support operations (e.g., Service Island support) Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Vocational or Technical Certification; post-secondary degree or technical certifications preferred Basic tools required Aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work) Diagnostics and repairs including AC, electrical systems Advanced skilled repairs including major engine repairs, diesel aftertreatment, or automotive fuel injection repairs Four (4) years or more relevant work experience preferred Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred; other location-specific certifications as required Must have all other certifications required by location Additional Requirements

Ability to perform all T3 tasks; advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance Effective interpersonal communication; basic computer skills (PC, Windows, mouse) Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds Shift work, weekends, and on-call duties as required ASE certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, electronics or ASE Master Mechanic preferred Operate shop computers and diagnostic test equipment proficiently; meet minimum tool requirements Road test vehicles as necessary; ability to coach/mentor others Must drive Ryder vehicles to become a Ryder employee; CDL within 6 months after hire Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, and background/motor vehicle checks (last 3 years) Important Note:
