We are hiring a skilled Construction Project Manager to support and manage project operations under the direction of Senior Project Managers and Superintendents. This role plays a key part in coordinating construction activities, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
This is an onsite position, requiring hands-on involvement at project locations.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Project Documentation & Administration
Manage permits, bonding, and insurance for UDOT, city, vehicle, and SWPPP requirements.
Administer OneDrive to organize and distribute project documents, including phase lists and change order work orders.
Support estimating and operations managers by updating project phases and ensuring field teams have current documentation.
Project Coordination & Meetings
Participate in pre-construction, hand-off, cost review, and progress meetings.
Collaborate with the Traffic Control department to develop traffic control plans and secure necessary permits.
Daily Operations & Reporting
Verify aggregate quantities and coding on a daily basis.
Process change orders and time-and-material (T&M) work tickets as needed.
Assist with purchase orders, submittals, and supplier quotes.
Maintain RFI logs and support the estimating team with change orders and submittals.
Safety & Compliance
Champion company safety programs and ensure full compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
Provide training certifications to customers upon request.
Field Measurement & Pay Quantities
Measure and record quantities for payment tracking and reporting.
Additional Responsibilities (As Directed)
Project Estimating & Management
Estimate and manage projects assigned by the Operations or Estimating Manager.
Attend pre-bid meetings and contribute to bid preparation.
Prequalification & Records Maintenance
Maintain and update the prequalification database, including past project lists and resumes relevant to the business unit.
Other Duties
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Operations, Estimating, or General Manager to support business objectives.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
0–5 years of construction experience preferred; a combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Must have 3–5 years of experience working on Federal Highway projects, with a solid understanding of associated standards and procedures.
