Responsibilities This role ensures all project work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time while managing multiple projects, driving process automation, and overseeing CAPEX initiatives from planning to completion within budget. Responsibilities include:
Leading maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and improving operational efficiency through Lean and Six Sigma methods.
Coordinating cross‑functional projects for new products, upgrades, and process improvements.
Serving as the site’s Responsible Electrician and ATEX safety lead.
Maintaining accurate technical documentation and managing contractors and budgets.
Participating in safety and emergency response programs and fostering a strong culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement across production, logistics, and administrative facilities.
Qualifications
5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 10 years of managerial experience.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
Familiarity with engineering standards and ability to read P&ID, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
Knowledge of extrusion, punching, stamping, milling, rolling, and spooling processes.
Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing operations, quality control systems, and Lean manufacturing principles.
In‑depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including hands‑on experience with industrial equipment and automation technologies.
Strong understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and proficiency in maintenance management software.
Competencies
Experience managing plant turnover and electrical shutdown.
Knowledge of Aveva automation tools, SolidWorks, and JDE.
Ability to create presentations and organize/lead team meetings.
Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Ability to multi‑task and remain organized.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.
Compensation The typical base salary range for this position is between
$124,587
and
$186,881 .
