Job Details Shift Hours:

Monday-Friday 10pm-6:30am or complete

Responsibilities

Support the effective use and functionality of automated equipment within a Distribution Center, mentoring technician associates.

Diagnose electrical controls issues to a component level, including capacitors, inductors, diodes, LEDs, transistors, pressure transducers, flow meters, photovoltaic sensors, bridge and full wave rectifiers.

Program basic changes to PLC controllers, including modifying timing, adding alarms, and logic for additional inputs or outputs.

Wiring additional devices to PLCs and other controllers.

Troubleshoot communication issues with devices connected to the MHE network or other networks such as Profibus, and work with device IP addressing and network switches.

Operate and diagnose chill water plant systems including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, BAS, HVAC, and water treatment.

Ensure preventative maintenance plans and schedules are effective for all facility equipment and systems.

Maintain CMMS/EAM system records on repairs and performed maintenance.

Manage inventory of spare parts.

Willingness to work extended hours to meet productivity goals.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Technical vocational training or equivalent experience, with at least two years of related experience, preferably with a strong electrical background.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems.

Ability to interpret CAD layouts, electrical diagrams, and circuitry diagrams.

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues, including systems up to 600 volts, AC/DC motors, PLCs, HMIs, and more.

Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ability to load and configure programs.

Computer skills including MS Office and MHE software such as RSLogix, Sort Director, GSMi, etc.

Excellent troubleshooting skills, communication skills, and ability to mentor others.
