Civil/Mechanical Superintendent – Solar (Site-Based | Oklahoma) Locations: Grady, Garfield, and Wagoner Counties, OK

Start Date: Mid-December 2025

Per Diem: Available for qualified travelers

About the Role We’re hiring Civil Superintendents to support large-scale solar farm construction projects across Oklahoma. As the Owner’s on-site representative, you’ll oversee all civil and structural activities during the site preparation phase - grading, drainage, foundations, and site infrastructure - ensuring the EPC contractor meets safety, quality, and schedule expectations. This is a field-based leadership position ideal for professionals with a background in heavy civil, roadwork, or commercial construction who want to advance their experience in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily civil construction activities (grading, leveling, drainage, foundations)

Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Conduct QA/QC inspections and ensure work meets project standards

Verify SWPPP installation and maintenance per permit requirements

Attend daily safety, coordination, and pre-construction meetings

Track EPC performance, report progress, and close out punch lists

Enforce safety compliance and support a strong site safety culture

Required Qualifications

3+ years of civil construction experience (preferably in road or commercial site work)

Proficiency in grading, drainage, and land preparation

Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings

Strong leadership and communication skills

High School Diploma or equivalent

Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and field reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience on solar or renewable energy projects

Familiarity with EPC workflows and QA/QC documentation

OSHA 30-hour certification

Experience with Unifier, Procore, or Bluebeam

What to Expect

Full-time, site-based position (travel required to project location)

50–60 hours per week typical (OT eligible)

Collaborative work with EPC partners and Construction Managers
