Job Description
Responsibilities: Receive product from press, stack, and place on pallets. Understand basic operation of Hugo Beck Bundling System, including setup, troubleshooting, webbing, trash removal, roll alignment, and bundle tensioning. Pull product from press, bundle, and place on pallets; print pallet labels with Pecas; ensure correct setup and loading based on job bag and setup sheet. Review jobs for quality and accuracy; ensure error-free completion; communicate issues to operators. Ensure finished products meet quality standards; sample and send to Quality Auditors as needed; report problems immediately. Assist with downtime procedures, including press webbing, cleanup, and setup tasks such as changing blades, cylinders, and ink. Properly set up and dispose of doctor blades following safety procedures. Support make-ready tasks, including purging, changeovers, and equipment adjustments. Maintain safety standards, including PPE use, hazardous waste handling, and work area cleanliness.
