SLP Teletherapy Specialist - Henderson Elementary Schools - Henderson, NV This teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist role focuses primarily on elementary students requiring speech and language intervention services. You’ll work approximately 35-37.5 hours per week from your home workspace, conducting therapy sessions, performing evaluations, and managing special education documentation. The virtual model allows you to serve students effectively while enjoying remote work benefits.

Responsibilities And Duties

Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders and delays.

Provide regularly scheduled therapy sessions targeting goals identified in each student’s IEP, using evidence-based intervention techniques adapted for teletherapy.

Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations, score and interpret results, and write comprehensive reports with findings and recommendations.

Monitor progress through consistent data collection to inform treatment decisions and demonstrate student growth.

Participate in IEP development and review meetings; contribute professional expertise to team discussions and ensure services align with federal and state requirements.

Maintain regular communication with families to keep them informed and engaged in their child’s therapy process.

Qualifications Required

Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Nevada with valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

At least two years of professional practice in school settings.

Ability to work independently in a teletherapy environment, with strong organizational skills and comfort engaging young students through digital platforms.

Work Environment and Technology This fully remote position requires a dedicated home office space with dependable internet, minimal background noise, and familiarity with video conferencing software, online therapy materials, and electronic health record systems. Comfort with educational technology and willingness to learn new systems support successful teletherapy implementation.
