Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fremont, California
A part‑time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a full school year in an elementary school setting located in Fremont, CA. This contract position requires a 0.5 FTE commitment, delivering in‑person services to support students' speech and language development throughout the academic year.
Qualifications
Speech‑Language Pathology experience in school settings
Pediatric speech and language therapy
Teletherapy experience is a plus, though this role is primarily in‑person
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or beyond
Healthcare‑related speech‑language pathology knowledge
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments, evaluations and individualized therapy sessions for students with speech and language needs
Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement intervention plans that support academic progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
Provide supervision for Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) if applicable
Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with parents and team members
This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the speech and language growth of elementary‑school students in a supportive educational environment. Candidates who prefer not to work with SLPAs will still be considered, though supervision may be provided if necessary.
