POSITION OVERVIEW The Clinical Supervisor, LCSW is a member of the program's leadership team and is primarily responsible for the clinical supervision and professional development of licensed staff providing treatment in the clinic. They are also responsible for implementation and oversight of evidence-based or innovative clinical services or models of care. The Clinical Supervisor, LCSW ensures clients receive timely access to quality clinical services, including during crises; oversees functions to support program’s clinical operations; and ensures program compliance with Federal, State, and City regulatory bodies, CARF and funding entities. Responsibilities

Clinical Services: Develop and provision evidence-based or new clinical services or models of care to meet the clinical needs of individuals, families, and communities served. Duties include: Identify gaps in clinical services at the program level and develop potential solutions to fill the gaps. Lead the implementation of evidence-based treatment or oversee innovative models of care, in partnership with The Jewish Board’s training department and/or external agencies. Ensure all assigned staff maintain an active caseload size as defined by clinic executive leadership. Collaborate with clinicians to maximize time providing direct care to clients. Teach, assess, and monitor skills such as timely notes, time management, and organizational skills. Develop clinician competency to provide individual, group, and family therapy. Teach person-centered treatment planning; ensure treatment planning is interdisciplinary and client-driven. Keep written supervisory notes up to date and reflective of clinician strengths and areas for improvement. Provide direct services as needed, including intakes and crisis interventions. Develop strategies to ensure timely access to care and increased engagement in care. Supervise crisis intervention services and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Participate in quality assurance activities such as chart reviews and utilization management. Integrate recovery, rehabilitation, treatment, and vocational components of the program. Monitor and follow up on program incidents. Oversee clinicians with a combined caseload of up to 350 clients. Personnel

Ensure appropriate staffing to support clinical care and evaluate staff performance. Participate in hiring and orienting new staff. Complete performance appraisals timely and address performance concerns. Conduct or participate in staff training and development. Monitor staff attendance and vacation scheduling to ensure program coverage. Supervise staff as appropriate to licensure. Administrative Functions and Program Operations

Lead or participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other meetings as assigned. Ensure program and staff comply with regulations and standards of care. Utilize electronic databases to monitor billing and address fiscal or billing issues. Identify and develop systems to improve program operations. May serve as backup to the Director or other supervisors; may assume responsibility for operations. Requirements

Master's degree in social work or mental health counseling and New York State clinical licensure in social work (LCSW) or mental health counseling (LMHC-DP). Solid clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices. Prior experience in DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR preferred, but not required. Excellent organizational, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Experience working with electronic medical records and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Work Environment

Hybrid work setting. Position entails a combination of in-person and remote work. Allocation of time and locations will be developed in collaboration with the Senior Program Director and is based on the needs of the programs and clients served. Travel required between program locations and other Jewish Board sites.
