We are seeking a
Financial Analyst
to serve as the analytical engine driving both
acquisitions
and
portfolio operations . This individual will underwrite new investments, build scenario-driven models, and translate operating data into actionable insights. The role offers
broad cross-asset exposure
and a
direct line of impact
on investment decisions and outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Acquisitions & Underwriting
Build and maintain financial models for
multifamily (value-add, lease-up) ,
industrial ,
development , and
commercial
opportunities, including cash flows, debt sizing, sensitivities, and waterfall analyses.
Lead diligence workstreams—reviewing
rent rolls, T-12s, capex scopes, market comps, CoStar data, lender quotes , and synthesizing findings into
Investment Committee (IC)
memos.
Benchmark expected returns against underwriting standards; frame risks, break-even points, and key drivers informing go/no-go decisions.
Operations & Portfolio Analytics
Build and maintain monthly dashboards to track
NOI, occupancy, rent growth, leasing velocity, capex progress, DSCR/LTV , and variances to budget or underwriting.
Reconcile operating data from property management systems ( Yardi, RealPage, Entrata ) with general ledger and bank activity to ensure accuracy.
Partner with the Asset Manager to identify underperformance early, design corrective action plans, and quantify expected impact.
Maintain
rolling 13-week cash flows , covenant trackers, and lender reporting packages.
Research & Cross-Asset Support
Conduct
market studies
(supply/demand, absorption, wage and population trends) and monitor
rate/credit conditions
to inform refinancing and disposition timing.
Support
private equity, venture, and public market
investments with quick-turn analyses, comps, and structure modeling as needed.

Clean, auditable models with assumptions supported by real evidence.
Fast, accurate monthly reporting with

clear, actionable insights .
Early identification of variance to plan, with quantified corrective measures.
Investment memos
that are concise, decision-ready, and analytically sound.
Qualifications
2–6+ years
in real estate finance, transactions, investment banking, buy-side investing, or FP&A with direct experience in
multifamily modeling .
Advanced proficiency in
Excel/Google Sheets
(INDEX/XMATCH, dynamic arrays; no opaque macros or black boxes).
Working knowledge of
Yardi, RealPage, or Entrata , and experience reconciling PM data to financial statements.
Experience with
data visualization
tools ( Power BI, Tableau, Looker ) or strong Excel dashboarding; familiarity with
SQL/Python
is a plus.
Excellent communication and writing skills; ability to distill complex data into the
3–5 insights that matter most .
