Electronic Maintenance Tech 1
to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in
Warner Robins, GA . The Electronics Maintenance Tech 1 is responsible for the repair, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Support the repairs and manufacturing of electronic assemblies. Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to determine cause and remedy for malfunction applying basic knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks.
Test and accept assemblies per approved ATP procedures.
Perform visual and mechanical inspections.
Prepare Line Replaceable Units for testing. Perform touch-ups.
Disassemble, repair, and re-assemble LRUs using electronic work instructions or applicable technical documents. Implement depot service bulletins.
Interpret drawings and parts lists.
Clean, inspect, and handle precision optics.
Maintain and repair shop equipment.
Utilize common electronic test equipment, lifts, test fixtures, and hand tools.
Perform basic soldering tasks.
Document maintenance actions in Ready Blue or applicable data systems. Submit replacement parts requests.
Support projects and meetings to improve repair processes. Provide input and support to production schedules and hours.
Obtain in a reasonable time frame and then maintain all applicable work-related certifications.
Basic Qualifications: Must have High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of Electronics related experience. Will consider associate’s degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics related field with 1 year of relevant electronics experience.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to work various shifts as needed.
Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter (DMM) or similar test equipment.
Self-starter with ability to work with little to no supervision.
Ability to recognize basic electronic components and work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches, and verbal instructions.
Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions, and other process documents.
Work well in a team environment.
Able to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics related field with 1 year of relevant electronics experience.
Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a lab environment.
Experience testing and troubleshooting LRU assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare systems.
Soldering experience or familiarization.
Have a current Secret DoD clearance.
Salary Range:
