About The Role
Join CrowdStrike's CSIRT eDiscovery team as an eDiscovery Operations Analyst. This role supports the team's mission by handling time‑sensitive legal data collection requests across multiple platforms, and contributing to data governance and security process improvements. This is a junior to mid‑level position where you'll work alongside senior team members to strengthen CrowdStrike's eDiscovery capabilities while developing your technical skills within a security‑focused company.
We are currently reviewing applicants who will be able to commute into our Austin, TX office as needed.
What You’ll Do
Perform remote eDiscovery data collections with occasional travel for onsite imaging projects.
Design and implement defensible collection strategies across various data sources.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a data catalog and evidence management system.
Research and evaluate emerging eDiscovery technologies and methodologies.
Maintain strict data hygiene and chain of custody protocols for all evidence.
Identify and implement automation opportunities within eDiscovery workflows.
Develop and optimize alerting mechanisms for eDiscovery operations.
Create comprehensive documentation and standardized operating procedures.
Collaborate with legal and IT teams on complex data preservation matters.
What You’ll Need
1-3 years of experience in eDiscovery, data governance or related fields.
Strong understanding of EDRM framework and eDiscovery lifecycle.
Demonstrated experience collecting data from enterprise platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Box).
Strong analytical skills and proven ability to manage multiple time‑sensitive projects.
Experience with forensic acquisition/imaging tools (e.g. Cellebrite, FTK, EnCase).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python).
Experience with cloud‑based eDiscovery platforms (e.g. RelOne).
Located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.
Background in cybersecurity or digital forensics.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Forensics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
