Compensation : Starting salary range $65,000 - $70,000; Commensurate to Skills and Experience
Hours : Full-time Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Position Description
Maas Energy Works (MEW) is seeking a Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator who will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of MEW’s PSM and RMP programs across multiple digester and biogas facilities. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with OSHA’s PSM standard (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA’s RMP requirements (40 CFR Part 68), while tailoring safety protocols to MEW’s unique operational environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about safety and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage PSM/RMP program development and implementation across MEW sites.
Conduct and support Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), Facility Siting Analyses (FSAs), and other safety assessments.
Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure site-specific safety procedures are integrated into project workflows.
Maintain compliance documentation and track regulatory deadlines with agencies such as the CA Waterboard, air districts, and local planning departments.
Liaise with external consultants and regulatory bodies to secure proposals and manage audits.
Support training programs and internal communications related to chemical safety and emergency response.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field preferred.
Experience with PSM/RMP programs or process engineering highly desirable
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
Must be proficient in English.
