Department Supervisor

Overview The Home Depot is hiring a Department Supervisor. Department Supervisors lead, train, coach and develop associates in each department to ensure customers receive excellent service and can easily find the merchandise they need. They provide input into operational and merchandising decisions to the Store Management Team and Operations Team and maintain strong product and operational knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, coach and develop associates in assigned department to deliver excellent customer service.

Ensure customers can easily find merchandise and receive helpful information.

Provide input into operational and merchandising decisions to Store Management and Operations Teams.

Demonstrate strong product and operational knowledge across assigned departments.

Collaborate across store departments when needed (e.g., Building Materials, Decor, Electrical, Flooring, Gardening, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, Pro Account Sales, Tool Rental, Front End, Freight, Receiving, Associate Support, Special Services, Merchandising Execution).
