Gideon Construction LLC, a general contractor located in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Front Desk Administrator with organization and prioritization skills who will provide proactive administrative support to the Office. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities

Front office management: Greet, assist, and direct visitors, including clients, subcontractors, and vendors, with a professional and friendly demeanor. Answer and manage incoming calls, transferring them to the appropriate person or taking detailed messages. Maintain the reception, lobby, and conference room areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and presentable. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services. Administrative support: Provide clerical support to the construction management team, including typing, filing, and scanning documents. Assist with updating project files, documentation, and records. Maintain and manage office supplies inventory, placing orders as needed to ensure the office is well-stocked. Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating company events or other internal activities. Skills And Qualifications

Customer service: A friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to effectively handle client inquiries and complaints. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and team members. Organization and multitasking: Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks with numerous interruptions. Problem-solving: A proactive and resourceful approach to resolving day-to-day issues. Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail is critical for accurately handling administrative tasks and project documentation. Discretion: Must be able to handle confidential information appropriately. Qualifications: Experience in an administrative, front desk, or receptionist role, preferably within the construction industry. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or further education is a plus. Technical proficiency: Strong computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) are essential. Industry knowledge: Familiarity with construction terminology and basic administrative processes is highly desirable. Software experience (optional): Experience with construction management software like Procore, Foundation, Sage, or QuickBooks is a plus. Additional Details
